Dance Central

Fit for Life (geared for adults 55+)
This is a senior fitness program for adults 55+ years of age. Class improves balance, coordination, flexibility and mobility. Program also increases strength and agility - all at your own pace.

Aquatics
Preschool: Ages 3-5 years

  • Pike - This is a class to develop swim skills. Children must be comfortable in the water without a parent.
  • Eel - Advance beginning level. Child must swim 3 to 5 feet on front, back and side without assistance.
  • Ray - Intermediate level. Child must swim 15 feet on front, back and side without assistance.
  • Star Fish - Advance level. Child must swim 20 feet front crawl, breaststroke, sidestroke, back crawl and elementary backstroke without floatation.

Youth: Ages 6-12 years

  • Polliwog - Beginner level. No experience required.
  • Guppy - Beginner / Intermediate level. Child must swim by paddling on front, back and side 25 yards with floatation and 20 feet without floatation.
  • Minnow - Intermediate level. Child must swim rudimentary front crawl, sidestroke, back crawl and elementary backstroke 25 yards each with or without floatation. Child also must be able to jump into deep water.
  • Fish - Intermediate / Advance level. Child must swim front crawl, breaststroke, sidestroke, back crawl and elementary backstroke for 25 yards each.
  • Flying Fish - Advance level. Child must swim front crawl, breaststroke, elementary backstroke and back crawl 50 yards each. Child also must swim butterfly with fins 25 yards and dive.
  • Shark - Advance level. Child must swim front crawl with bilateral breathing, breaststroke, elementary backstroke, back crawl, sidestroke 100 yards each, lifesaving stroke 50 yards, butterfly with fins 25 yards and diving off one meter board.
  • Porpoise - Child must swim strokes 200 yards. This class is conducted in a swim club setting where the child applies skills to an ever-widening circle of aquatic activities.

Tae Kwon Do
Learn self defense, physical fitness, character building and mind and body coordination from instructor Scott Suzuki-Jones, 4th DAN, WTF. First trial class is free. Men, women, boys and girls are welcome.
